Aparthotel Nuriasol

We rented the apartment for six weeks on floor 7/8, by reception and the swimming pool. The renovation noise in nearby rooms starts at 7am and had been going on for over two weeks. There is also noise after 11pm, and the sound insulation is generally poor. The hotel staff can't control the British guests making noise on the outdoor terrace until midnight. Children scream and carry on until the bar runs out of drinks for their parents. We complained about the cleaning, but they couldn't do what we paid for. The floors are dirty and the apartment is very dirty in general. The fridge/freezer is broken: ice cream melts and milk freezes, because the thermostat affects the temperature badly. Finnish TV channels come and go and have sound problems. As a “bonus,” MTV3 started broadcasting porn at 9pm-10pm, which the staff didn't believe?! The sewer smell is bad, and the replacement air from the sewer isn't working. The filter inside the refrigerator is dusty/molded. Every night, shortly after I started sleeping, both my father and I coughed up mucus. I don't even dare look under the sheets. Overall, a very bad experience.

The pool area was lovely, very clean, and had plenty of sun loungers. I really appreciated the rule against reserving them with towels, so there was always a space for everyone. We had a fantastic stay at Apartamentos Nuriasol in Los Boliches and would happily return. The apartment was comfortable and well equipped for our needs. There were two good-sized, comfortable twin beds, though only sheets were provided, not duvets. The kitchen was a standout, with accessories, a washing machine, dishwasher, and toaster, so cooking a full meal was easy. We enjoyed evenings around the dining table. The living room TV was a good size and had a few English channels, including BBC News. The sofa was a little lumpy and felt slightly broken at one end, but it was fine for a short stay. The bathroom was clean and nice, though the shower was a little small for a taller person. We also liked the balcony, with its table and two chairs. A couple of things to know: the lift system was confusing, since despite our room number starting with a 2, we had to go to the 6th floor. Housekeeping changed the sheets and towels every three days, but didn't clean the kitchen area. The safe cost an extra €2.50 per day, which we felt should be included.

The bar downstairs was brilliant, the staff were super friendly, and the pizza impressed me as a fussy eater. The hotel has lifts and stairs, and the service was right on point. I also liked the laid-back pool area: towels couldn't be used to reserve sun beds, so a free one was free, and we didn't see the usual 5am crowd staking claims. The supermarket is around the corner, and the train station is five minutes down the road, handy for local areas or getting to the airport without a taxi. We'd highly recommend it and will definitely be back. Big thanks to the hotel and staff. The rooms are spacious, with separate bedrooms rather than the studio layout you often see. The bedroom door locks, as does the main room door. The kitchen had a cleaning kit for the washing machine and dishwasher, plus a sponge, and soaps and towels were provided. The memory foam beds and pillows sink under your head. There was the usual thin sheet, with a thicker duvet also available. Each room had two AC units, one in the bedroom and one in the main room. There was plenty of storage, a large cold fridge, a TV, dining table, balcony seating, and a safe in the bedroom.

I’m really upset after what we paid. I have a small child, and seeing cockroaches everywhere day after day had me beside myself with worry. We cleaned up carefully after meals, but there were still bed bugs and cockroaches all over. We itched through the night while bed bugs crawled on us. The sheets were stained, the blankets smelled awful, and one duvet had what looked like chewing gum stuck to it. The bathroom was unpleasant to use because the bidet was so close to both the toilet and bath. The sofa beds were battered and broken. Now I just want to go home and never return to Spain.
