The location was convenient, but the hotel felt tired and the stay was stressful and expensive. We travel a lot as a family, and this was unfortunately our worst hotel experience. We’d booked and paid for a two-bedroom suite, but it wasn’t available the first night. Our family was split between two rooms, moved again the next day, and only then got the suite. After that, we noticed bed bug bites and told reception. Their proposed fix was another move, which would split us up again on the last night, even though we were concerned moving rooms could spread the bed bugs. To protect our home, we arranged professional freezing for all our luggage and clothing as soon as we landed. We had to coordinate it and pay several hundred euros ourselves, all to make sure we didn’t bring pests home. It turned the holiday into a stressful, time-consuming exercise. The property has clearly seen better days. Furnishings were worn, some sockets didn’t work, the bedding was thin in cold rooms, and the beds felt very old. Room quality also varied significantly, with some rooms noticeably better than others, so your experience can depend a lot on which one you get. If all you want is a bed, perhaps with bugs, the bare basics and a good location, this may suit you. For us, the repeated room moves, bed bugs and unhelpful handling made for an exhausting stay. The hotel needs a thorough renovation and a more professional approach to pest control and guest care before we could recommend it.

The hotel reception staff were friendly and answered all our questions. They also let us store our bags for free when we had a late flight. The pool area was nice, and the hotel was clean. It’s just a stone’s throw from the beach, and I’d definitely stay again. I stayed in a privately owned apartment, which was really good and had most of what you need. I gave it 4 stars because the beds were a little uncomfortable and it could have done with a hairdryer.

The staff were really friendly, and we appreciated being upgraded. The room was spacious and very clean. Only drawback was the air conditioning, which was too noisy.

The location works well if you want bars nearby, but our stay had a lot of problems. The beds were uncomfortable and offered so little support that my partner's back suffered throughout the holiday. I don't have existing spine problems and I still found them uncomfortable. The bathroom was dirty when we arrived, and the air conditioning was very old and barely worked. Our kitchenette technically existed, but the microwave and kettle were broken. We only had lamps in the room, and just one bathroom mirror while other rooms had two or three. The breakfast choice was small, and much of it was overcooked and oily. I wouldn't bother with it if your kids are picky eaters. The pool was tiny and freezing, and children have to be accompanied in it whether or not they can swim. Housekeeping came daily, though I personally don't see much point in that. Towels we were given had stains on them. We were also given only one toilet roll for four people for several days. We ran out twice because reception wouldn't give us another roll when we chose not to have the room cleaned. From the replies I've seen, changing rooms seems to be their only solution. I could go to reception, but really, I shouldn't have to.
