Aparthotel Fuengirola Beach

We stayed for 11 nights at the end of October 2025, in a first-floor one-bedroom apartment overlooking the pool. It was very clean and had all the kit for self-catering: a fridge, kettle, microwave, toaster, teapot and more. We didn’t cook on holiday, but I can see younger families using it. The maid service was great, and the towels and bedding were changed as shown in the attached photo. We had a light breakfast and ate out every evening. For the first four days there was some noise from the live entertainment, but it stopped on the last day of the month, at the end of the season. The apartment is a short distance from a large shopping centre with a big Carrefor supermarket, 150 steps away, yes, I measured. It’s closed on Sunday and open 9am to 10pm every other day. We had a lovely view of the nearby mountains. There’s a charge for the safety deposit box. The L1 bus stop is right outside the entrance, handy if you use local buses. It goes to Fuengirola’s main bus station and train station. The town has an amazing selection of tapas and meat restaurants. I’ve stayed in torremolinos and benelmadena, but in my opinion this is a better spot for the beach and restaurants. The beach is a very short 5 min walk, and it took me, a 66 year male, 28 minutes to walk to Fuengirola Marina. For families, the animation team were great with the kids. There’s a bar on site, and you can get breakfast and daytime snacks. The menu is on the Q.R. Code in the attached photo, and prices are very reasonable. Service and rooms get 5/5 from me, the staff were happy and everything was very clean. Was it good? Yes. I’ve already booked to come back.

The location is great, near Sohail fort and Miramar shopping Centre, but the furniture really isn’t up to standard. The sofas felt like low key IKEA, which I wouldn’t expect at this sort of place. I tried sleeping on the 170cm sofas and couldn’t manage it. The beds are good, but sofas aren’t made for sleeping, and they’re not even comfortable to sit on. We booked a one-bedroom for four people, thinking we could save money with some of us on the sofas. DONT!!! I’ll try talking to the personnel tomorrow, though I don’t expect much luck.

There’s a massive supermarket across the road, which makes picking up essentials easy. The hotel has good-sized pools and loads of entertainment and activities through the day for adults and children. The one-bedroom rooms are a little small, but clean and to a good standard. It’s a bit of a walk to the main front. The staff are kind and helpful too. I’d come back.

We’re booked for our third year in a row, because it’s such a good hotel for a family holiday. The staff are fantastic with kids and keep them happy and busy from morning to night, with poolside games, water activities, kids club, discos, and something different every day. The staff throughout are friendly and attentive. Rooms are clean and well kept, the hotel has all the facilities we need, and it’s right beside a big multi-storey shopping centre. The beach is a 5 min walk, and restaurants are a little farther. The main strip takes about 20 - 30 mins on foot, but taxis are cheap, and there’s frequent bus service from the stop outside the hotel. My only criticism is the bar food, which is pretty basic. Breakfast and things like lunch sandwiches are fine, but they really need to update the options. The food feels very uninspired, and birds fly in and out of the open-plan kitchen.
