Higueron Hotel Malaga, Curio Collection by Hilton

I was there for four days on a business trip. The views of the sea from my fourth-floor room were beautiful, and the interior was modern. The room came with body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, a hair dryer, iron and ironing board. I could use the gym and tennis courts, and the service was friendly and professional. The desserts were the highlight, amazing. Breakfast and lunch were okay for both quality and variety. The bathtub sits in the room directly in front of the bed, next to the balcony, which felt a little unusual. I didn’t try dinner, so can’t comment on it. Nice views, good facilities and service, and a good hotel for business events.

The views from the Higuerón Hotel in Málaga were incredible, and I was glad to have a balcony. I was there for a real estate conference, and the hotel was convenient, an easy drive from Málaga Airport. Service was welcoming and top-notch from the moment I arrived. The rooftop bar was a highlight, and the spa and amenities really set the hotel apart. I also made good use of the salon and cycling studio, both of which were excellent and well run. There’s something here for business, wellness or a leisure trip. I’d absolutely recommend it and would love to stay again.

The food at the Med restaurant was delicious, with plenty of choice, and we had amazing views of Fuengirola from our room. Everyone at Higueron Hotel was friendly, helpful and attentive. I had such an amazing time, and especially want to thank Samantha Kuczynski, Guest Experience Manager. She arranged a birthday treat for me, and was so kind. I couldn’t thank her enough.

We had a stunning, spacious suite with an open-plan layout and a massive bed. The Rituals toiletries were a lovely touch, and fresh water was topped up daily. We also appreciated being recognised as a Hilton Gold member, along with the welcome glass of bubbles. The staff were genuinely friendly, and the hotel felt luxurious throughout. The weather wasn’t great, so we spent time using the facilities. We booked a paddle session, which I thought was good value, and used the pool too. I’d have liked the spa to be included, though I understand it’s usually an extra at this level. We didn’t end up using it, but it looked great. The Med, which I believe is the hotel’s own restaurant, was a real highlight and exceeded expectations. Hotel restaurants can feel samey, but this had character and excellent service. The rooftop pool area was brilliant, with great staff and a nice nighttime atmosphere. Live music really lifted the place. Breakfast had everything you’d want, including a proper station for pressed detox juices, cooked options, smoked salmon and loads more. I can’t wait to return, hopefully in better weather so we can enjoy the outdoor areas properly. They look unreal.
