Hostal Costabella - Quadruple Room with Terrace Standard Rate

The atmosphere was really nice, and the staff were even better. A very pleasant stay.

The room wasn't cleaned during my stay. When I came back on the third evening, the bed was still unmade, the spider I'd killed was still in the room, and the towels hadn't been replaced, so I couldn't shower. The fresh towels they'd given me earlier were just as old and stained as the first ones, which I'd left on the floor. There was also a spider on my shoes in the closet. Getting there was a hassle from the start. Costabella hostel has no reception, so check-in meant walking 15 minutes to another place. Parking nearby was scarce and paid, and the check-in staff didn't tell me where to look. A total nightmare. I wouldn't book here.

For 50 euros a night, we got a comfy bed, a good-sized room, and everything we needed, including TV and air-conditioning. The staff were cheerful and helpful, and it's very close to the train station. Parking was the big headache: during the international feria, it took us almost an hour to find a space. The rooms were very clean, and the location was great otherwise. Highly recommended.

I had to cancel my one-night booking as soon as I learned check-in was only between 16.00 and 19.00. They wouldn't let me arrive between 20.00 and 21.00 because of my flight schedule, but thankfully I found that out before travelling there. Also, all the communication is in Spanish.
