Hotel Monarque Cendrillón

The location made getting around easy. The train station was a three to four-minute walk away, and the beach and plenty of restaurants were close by. The ride to the airport was hassle-free too, just over 30 Euros by Uber. We spent a delightful week at Hotel Monarque Cendrillón with my wife and daughter. We felt secure throughout, and the hotel was clean, with staff around to keep everything spotless. The hotel and restaurant teams were polite and friendly, which made it feel welcoming. The outdoor pool was a highlight, well kept and next to a bar serving drinks and snacks. We enjoyed the nighttime entertainment, and the lounge was a comfortable place to unwind in the evenings. The all-inclusive food and drink had a huge range of choices for all our tastes. The shower could have been better, and a few more sockets in the room would have helped, but these were minor annoyances. We’d happily stay again and recommend Hotel Monarque Cendrillón for a lovely holiday.

The food was excellent value, and the location is fantastic, just two minutes from the beach and amenities. The staff are so friendly. A big thank you to David, who was really helpful and accommodating and made us feel welcome. Les and Karen

We had a fantastic two-week stay at Monarque Cendrillon and can’t think of anything bad to say. It’s a quiet spot, a good choice if you want a peaceful holiday. We were there in early June, when there were almost no children or noisy, drunk people. The hotel has two swimming pools, one open air and one covered, plus a lovely garden with palms and parasols. The food was good, and the staff were amazing, always ready to help. It’s less than 100 metres from the sea and Fuengirola beach promenade, with a bus stop beside the hotel. You can get to Fuengirola town centre easily by bus, then catch the train to Malaga. I’d recommend it.

There was a drainage problem in our room, and it smelled of sewage all week. We also saw cockroaches in the hotel. If you don’t speak fluent Spanish, the activities may not be for you, since they don’t translate 90% of the information.
