The rooms were very clean, and the staff were welcoming. The hotel has a prime location, which is a real advantage, though the place itself needs a lot of TLC.

The location is good, next to the port, water activities, beach, bars, and restaurants. The food was nice, although all the juices were concentrated, very strong, and sweet. In Spain, you'd expect a variety of fresh juices. Not all the staff were nice and welcoming. The hotel is overrated compared with other four-star places. The rooms are very basic and need refreshing. There's no kettle, coffee, tea, iron, or shampoo in the room, just a soap dispenser. Noise from outside comes through easily, and the air conditioning either wasn't there or didn't work, even with the card. Parking wasn't free or included, so I had to pay extra.

The rooms were clean and the cuisine was excellent, and we will definitely come back. The location is excellent too, with the sea, shopping centers, restaurants, and transport close to the hotel. We will always remember Hotel Las Palmeras fondly. Ana and Angela welcomed us at reception with smiles, kindness, and professionalism, which impressed us right away.

The staff are brilliant and work very hard, and Connor is definitely making a difference. Sergio was excellent at the bar and made a big difference too, so he really needs to be put back there. There have been a few improvements, but not much has changed lately, and some refurbishment is definitely needed.

The staff ARE AMAZING. But be prepared to fight for a table at the buffet, or someone else might take it. The air conditioning is weak, and being kicked out of the pool at ten to six is unbelievable in Malaga, where it's scorching until 7 or 8 pm. It's not normal on the Costa del Sol to be sent away from the pool at 5:50. The pool closes at 18h! What a rip-off.
