Shops, cafés and bars are all within walking distance, and the sea-facing location is brilliant. The staff were wonderful, the room was cleaned daily, and reception was open around the clock. There’s a laundrette next door and a supermarket behind the apartment block, which was so convenient. I’d highly recommend it and will be back.

The sea view from the front is great, and everything was nice and clean. The shower was the easiest and best I’ve used. A cleaner came nearly every day, with a laundrette on one side and a restaurant on the other. 👌

There were ants everywhere, and the apartment was dirty, with dust in every corner. It made me wonder whether the rooms were cleaned at all. The sheets were stained, and the mattress was so hard and uncomfortable. The bed is next to the balcony, and noise came through at night and disturbed my sleep.

Stella Maris Apartments is a convenient, reasonably priced option if you just need somewhere basic. The apartments are generally clean and functional, but there’s nothing fancy about them. Some guests say the facilities feel dated, and noise can be a problem depending on the season and your neighbours. Service was acceptable, though it didn’t feel especially warm or personal. There’s room to improve the comfort and atmosphere.
