The patio and pool make this a lovely little stop on the VDLP, and I enjoyed relaxing in the hammocks with a book. I stayed two nights so I could make the most of the facilities and rest and recover. The upstairs rooms are dark and quiet. Highly recommend staying here.

There’s a lot to explore here, including the coach House, so take a look around the whole property. The place feels like a living museum, with really interesting decor, and the owners are friendly and helpful. There’s a nice pool, a full kitchen and free laundry, though you hang the washing out to dry. Most rooms are for two people. They apparently have the coach House for special events, and offer a special price for peregrinos walking the Ruts de la Plata (VDLP).

We’re a couple of peregrinos from the UK. In January, our double room cost €30, in a large, clean shared apartment with a kitchen, bathroom and lounge. The lounge has heating, but the bedrooms were cold. If you only need a bed or a room rather than a whole apartment, call them instead of booking online.

The owners were so friendly, and the place itself was lovely. We really enjoyed staying here.
