Casa Rural Landa

I really enjoyed chatting with Miguel Ángel about the local wildlife, plants, trees, birds, and surroundings. He clearly knows the area and has so much experience. The breakfast was suuuper, too. Everyone was attentive, friendly, and keen to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Highly recommend.

The Urbasa mountain range right across from the house makes for a spectacular setting. Just keep in mind that this is a tiny village of 17 people, with no bars, restaurants, or shops nearby. The closest ones are a 20-minute drive away. Inside, the house has lovely, distinctive decor, a big garden that feels like a botanical garden, a heated indoor pool with a spa feel, a play area for children, and a comfortable shared living room. The owners, Miguel Angel and Carmen, are charming and always happy to help. Breakfast is generous and homemade, and costs €4. You can also use the kitchen for an extra charge. There are two more lovely hosts, the affectionate dogs Wiskie and Kiss. It’s a wonderful spot if you like nature, peaceful walks, and sustainable places. We had a great time and will be back. The price is a steal, too.

We felt completely at home, and enjoyed every corner of the place without ever lacking anything. Miguel Ángel and Carmen, thank you for being so available and for the warmth you shared. The breakfasts were homemade, freshly prepared, and really generous. We wish you all the best. We’ll remember the company of your lovely dogs, Kisses and whiskey.

The people at Casa Landa made us feel so comfortable, and we’re grateful for all the care and effort they put in. The food, pool, and scenery were wonderful too. Ten out of ten, and thank you so much, you lovely people! For context, our excursion yesterday included 30 of us, 21 of them young people and children of different ages.
