Hotel Agáldar

My room was cozy, with a big, soft bed and a clean bathroom. The rooftop was my favorite: nice views, lots of seating, and a pool. The hotel felt relaxed, and all the staff were super kind. They speak English perfectly. It's right in the historical area with restaurants all around, and I loved it. Just perfect!

The restaurant was fantastic, genuinely so, and not too expensive. The hotel's central location and charming surroundings were great too. It's a charming hotel of a high standard for its price, with comfortable beds, almost. The sheets were too short and crawled up overnight, which cost it a star. There's no hotel parking, and you can't even pull up to unload luggage. Finding a street space is nearly impossible. Nearby lots charge 1 Eur for 5 hours, and you need to renew every morning and evening, three times on weekends. That's irritating, though the parking app lets you renew remotely. The parking situation cost it a star for location.

The pool was freezing, so that's why I'm giving it 4 stars. Otherwise, we loved the hotel and room, both beautiful, and Gáldar is a great place to visit. Having a cocktail or two at the sky bar was great. The girlnd the bar was quick and really friendly, and all the other staff were friendly and helpful too. Very recommendable. I'd have given it 4.5 stars if I could.

The hotel staff gave us a lovely welcome, and we had a great view. Breakfast was prepared with a lot of care, too. It's close to the market hall, church, art museum, and excavation site, all worth visiting. A beautiful hotel in a wonderful little town.
