The service was very slow. If you speak Spanish, it’s absolutely fine. We always try to speak Spanish, but once some people realise we’re English, forget it. 😢

We had prawns in oil at this seafront restaurant, and they had amazing flavour. The steak that followed was tender and full of flavour too. The staff were lovely, and we even got a free gift when we left. Five stars, lovely place. We’ll be back.

I thought this place was coming up as a hotel, but I’m reviewing the restaurant. It has a fantastic location, the food was good, and the service was good, especially from the young woman. The starters on the menu are starters, not tapas, so they’re quite large. Luckily, the restaurant was happy to give us a doggy bag.

We hadn’t booked, but as it was early evening and not too busy, they found us a table. The menu has a good selection, though we felt it was pricey for what you get. The food tasted good but wasn’t presented particularly well. Service was okay at best. When our waiter brought my main course, he knocked my glass of rosé over my dress. He apologised a lot and seemed to improve his manner, and it looks like we weren’t charged for the drinks on the bill. Like many restaurants in Gandia, it’s in a great spot for people-watching while you eat and drink. It was a good meal, but not a great one.
