We loved being able to walk down to the town’s natural pools and swimming beach, then get tapas on the fifteen-minute walk back. Garachico’s restaurants seemed excellent compared with those in the other Canary Island towns we visited. The town has historic streets, a genuinely friendly feel and delicious food, without feeling quite so touristy. Casa Naranja Vivienda Vacacional was just outside one of Tenerife’s most historic and interesting towns, but still close enough to walk in easily. Its views were everything we could have hoped for: clear aquamarine ocean, a spectacular manor home, the lovely marina and a gorgeous banana plantation. We stayed for a month and never regretted it. The hosts were perfect and responded immediately to every need and request. The house was immaculate, beautifully appointed and had everything we needed for a great vacation. It made an ideal base for our Canary Islands experience, and we’d recommend Casa Naranja for its location, wonderful hosts and lovely house.

We had plenty of room to relax in this lovely holiday home, with a nice view over the banana plantations toward the coast. It’s in a quiet spot just outside the pretty village of Garachico.

Garachico is charming, and the house is in a wonderful spot. We loved the house, its surroundings and the host. It had everything we needed, was tastefully decorated, and the new items were all in excellent condition. We wish we could come every year! 🥰

We spent a very hot week at Casa Naranja in August 2023, but a little wind and breeze kept the house comfortable. My two sons and I loved the place so much that we didn’t take many excursions. We were happy to stay in and be self-sufficient with the grill and kitchen. The house has lots of space, beautiful rooms, thoughtful furnishings and a breathtaking view. The pool isn’t really for swimming, but we still enjoyed spending time in it and cooling off while looking over Garachico and the sea. Luis was a particularly lovely host and checked in proactively to see what we needed. It’s simply wonderful here.
