We felt settled right away in this clean, cozy Canarian-style house, which had everything we needed. Its garden has orange trees, and we made fresh juice each morning. We stayed four days in February 2024 with my sister, nephew, his friends and my husband. The peaceful setting is close to a great hike to Chinyero volcano, and it’s also near Santiago del Teide, Garachico and Icod de los Vinos in the north of the island. We’d definitely return.
The garden and quiet surroundings made this such a lovely spot for our family reunion. Inside, the kitchen fireplace and really comfortable beds made the house feel like home, and everything seemed new and clean. My partner, mum, baby and I spent two weeks here in November. It was idyllic, and we’d love to come back.
Waking up to the view of Mount Teide is a real treat. This charming villa feels secluded, with nice places to sit around the house. The driveway is quite narrow, though, and can be tricky in the evening or when it rains.
The house looks lovely, but getting around and making use of everything isn’t very practical. The pool is a long way off, and there’s no proper dining area by the pool barbecue. The patio barbecue near the house is small and has no sink. Even opening the refrigerator blocks access to the hallway. Driving in is almost impossible because the entrance is so narrow. Still, if you’re not too demanding about comfort, you can spend a few peaceful, restful days here.
