This house has a distinctive rustic, eclectic style, and it's spotless in the bedrooms and bathrooms. There are lots of places for family activities or just relaxing. It sits at the edge of the village, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Public parking with electric vehicle charging is around 40 meters away, and it's a great base for exploring the area.

We came from Ciudad Real for the August long weekend as a family, and had a fantastic time. The house was big, beautiful, and super clean. Paloma and Marta looked after us really well. We'll be back 👍

We rented the whole house for a family event with 8 people. There was plenty of space, and both the service and arrangements were perfect. Everything was very good.

We had the house to ourselves, which was wonderful, though the living room and kitchen are shared spaces. Maribel gave us trail and food tips, and even came with us to the town tourist office. Casa Rural Maire is great for a weekend getaway and local hikes. Gata is lovely, with old-fashioned greetings, hills to climb, charming corners, and cats everywhere. The house is well placed for chestnut tree trails, natural pools, and the town square, where you can recharge. We had a lovely time and will definitely return to this part of Extremadura. It's worth stopping in Robledillo de Gata and San Martín de Trevejo too, towns where you can lose track of time.

It's a decent rural house, with the downside that you share it with others. The kitchen is shared and has a small fridge, and the communal living room has rather hard sofas. Still, it's in a wonderful village full of friendly people, and a good spot for hiking or driving around.
