We arrived at the last minute, and this turned out to be the best stop of our two-week road trip. The clean rooms and homemade meals were lovely, and the place has such a welcoming feel that it just feels like home. Genalguacil was a real hidden gem on our route, unusual and beautiful, and you can tell the residents take great care of it. I'd love to come back for a longer stay.

We booked it without knowing much, just as a place to sleep on the way to Ronda, but Genalguacil completely wowed us. The drive from Estepona was enchanting, with breathtaking scenery. The village is a small, cozy treasure, full of lovely street art and surrounded by beautiful views. The sunset was mind-blowing. The stay was cozy and easy to find. The owners were a lovely couple who made us dinner and breakfast. Eating with them felt like visiting family, and they spoke decent English. This was easily our favorite stay on our Andaluzia trip, and a welcome break from the tourist-filled Costa Del Sol. Absolutely recommended.
