The room was a reasonable size, and the bathroom was better than in some other B & B Hotels where both were much smaller. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and I’d stay here again when I’m in the Madrid area.

The morning coffee was a nice touch, and we slept well since the room got dark enough at night. Even though it’s beside the highway, we couldn’t hear the traffic. I just wish there’d been a comfortable chair. We felt at ease in the room and had a great stay.

Free underground parking was a huge plus, and there are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The supermarket is across the road and the train station is under a 10-minute walk away. The hotel itself feels new and stylish, with spacious rooms and lovely staff. My one gripe was hearing people coming and going because sound carries through the hallways.

For a work trip, B&B Getafe Hotel had the basics I needed: room to work, coffee, and a good night’s sleep, without unnecessary extras like a fancy restaurant or wellness facilities. I brought my little son, and he had a good space too, along with food, tea, and a baby cot. I did miss having a small fitness room, which I understand used to be there, and some vegetables at breakfast. There were plenty of sweet pastries already, so tomatoes and cucumbers would have been welcome.
