We stayed here because it was right on our route to the south of Spain, and for that the location gets five stars from us, even though the area is extremely busy. The Ibis itself was busy and a bit chaotic too. Reception is set up in what feels like a bar, and checking in online didn't save us anything: we still had to show our IDs to be copied and sign a form. That seemed odd as Accor members, since our details are already in our account. The room was spacious and the bed was good, but the bathroom needs work. Humidity had swollen and damaged the door frame, so the bathroom door wouldn't shut. There were cracks in the shower tiles, moldy silicone, and a loose drain cover. Breakfast was crowded, though good. We paid 9 euros a night for underground parking, which is reasonable, but I think parking should be free for guests. On departure morning the elevator to the car park was out of order, so we had to carry our bags down the stairs.

The train station is about a 12-minute walk away, with a direct connection to Sol Station in the city center, so this is a handy base for visiting Madrid. The hotel is comfortable, and parking is convenient. Breakfast is very good and fairly priced, and the bar has tasty food as well. Highly recommended.

A relaxed stay at a pretty typical European budget hotel. The little lobby is cute, and Getafe central station is around 15 minutes away. Housekeeping did come in even though we had the “do not disturb” sign on the door. It wasn't a big deal, just odd.

The staff were warm and friendly, and the area is pleasant, with shops nearby and lots of free parking. It's also a nice option for a stay with children or pets. The hotel is in a convenient spot. Our shower cabin was completely broken, though, and its door wouldn't close, which was quite inconvenient. Breakfast was a real letdown, more like something at a 2-star place. There are good points here, but the room and breakfast problems need attention.

Customer service was great, and I'll definitely come back. This Getafe Ibis is right by the main highway to Madrid and offers good value for the price. It's a typical good Ibis, with a spacious room, comfortable mattress, reliable WiFi, and a good breakfast buffet.
