The owners were wonderful, ready with advice and help for anything we wanted to see or do. This was our second visit to Getaria as Australians, after staying here in August 2023 and returning in May 2026. The beaches are great too. Getting down into town is easy, and there are elevators and a lift to help with the uphill return, though you can also drive or cycle. I sometimes hand out five stars pretty easily for good service, food and atmosphere, but this place deserves more. It’s magic.

The owner was so friendly and helpful, and made everything easy for us. We had a peaceful, comfortable stay in a clean place, with a stunning sea view and sunrise that was unforgettable. The oranges were great too. I'd happily come back and recommend it.

We had a two-bedroom apartment with an east-facing terrace, in an original Basque building with a lovely garden. It's up on a hill above the city, with a great view of the valley and sea. The host was very kind and helpful. We'd love to return.

The garden is huge, with room for adults to relax and kids to play, and the sea and hills look magnificent from here. It's a peaceful oasis with one house and two large apartments. Andrés was friendly and helpful, while giving us plenty of privacy, and welcomed us with a bottle of his great Txakoli.

The owners were really friendly, and the place was super clean. I have three kids and they loved everything about it. The kitchen is fully equipped if you're staying longer and want to cook.
