The hosts were so welcoming and accommodating, always ready with advice or help. There was a relaxed, friendly feel to the place that made it feel like more than the sum of its parts. You can tell they've put real thought and effort into making guests comfortable. We felt at home, and it became a highlight of our road trip. We'll definitely be back. It's a two-star hotel, with some basic features: parking is on the street a short walk away, and breakfast is at the little cafe opposite, though at a great price. The old town is right next door, and the beach is just 200 metres away. Our room was spotless, the shower was great, and the beds were really comfortable. There were thoughtful details too, like a little balcony washing line for swimwear. I can't recommend this place enough.

The family running the place were friendly and helpful, and the location is fantastic, just across from the beach. The rooms are a bit tired, with dark, dated decor. It was so hot that sleeping was difficult, especially with no air conditioning. The bedding was just a sheet and blanket. Breakfast was fine at the cafe across the road.

Don't book this place. The photos are fake, the rooms are in very bad condition, and the prices are far too high. The owner was the most unprofessional and aggressive person we've ever dealt with. Read some of her replies to low ratings and judge for yourself. There are plenty of much better hotels nearby.

The location in Getaria is hard to beat, and the room was decent. Service was solid, and although my Spanish is limited and their English is too, getting by was fairly easy. The room is old-fashioned, with few power outlets and a cramped bathroom. There was no AC or ceiling fan, and sleeping in July heat and humidity was uncomfortable. Parking took some figuring out. I ended up down by the water on the pier, since the free street spots nearby are usually taken.

After a long hike, this cozy, comfortable room was such a treat. The hosts were really friendly and accommodating. They gave me a great dinner recommendation and even some plums to take on my hike the next day. I loved staying here.
