The beaches are close by, and the old cable bridge is only 800 m away and worth visiting. It’s also a nice place to stay for getting into the centre of Bilbao, about 13 km away, with tram, bus and bike options.

10/10
I only needed a cheap place for a couple of nights after my car broke down in town, and the hotel turned out much better than expected. The bedding was comfortable, the bathrooms were well equipped, and the place felt quaint rather than dated. The receptionist pointed out it was “only a two-star hotel” to explain the low price, but it was extremely good value. Highly recommended.

The prices are reasonable, and the staff are excellent. A very friendly hotel in a great spot.

Our “suite” was up in the attic, with very low ceilings and tiny windows at floor level. It felt really claustrophobic. Very basic.

The location is great, and the staff are friendly. The place was clean, though the rooms and beds are small and the bedding wasn’t especially comfortable.
