Palacio Arriluce Hotel

The long gaps between check-ins made for poor service, and when we asked about the burger, nobody could say what meat it contained. The difference between the lunch and dinner menus also felt disorganized, not deliberate. At Bar Inglés, our dinner fell well short of the five-star standard associated with Palacio Aralucci. A server coughed throughout the evening, making us uncomfortable and raising hygiene concerns. Even the salt and pepper shakers were broken. It was a deeply disappointing meal.

A routine overnight stop turned into a lovely stay. Ainara greeted us at the palace entrance, and the warm welcome carried on from there. Melissa was really helpful, and the rest of the staff were a delight too. The Delaunay restaurant was excellent. Thank you for such a superb visit!

The property itself is nice, but the service was below average. My son was there for a week and I stayed four nights. We asked for a quiet room by email and confirmed the request by phone, yet got a room facing the hotel driveway. The mattresses are so soft you sink into them. If you have back problems, be careful. By the third day, I was in severe pain.

Breakfast was out of this world, and everything else impressed us too, from the facilities and room to the concierge and service. We stayed one night and will definitely be back.
