The woman looking after the place was friendly and helpful, and let me keep my bike inside without any fuss. It was also very cheap. This is a basic Pension rather than a 2-star hotel, despite how Google lists it. The rooms had just been decorated and were very clean, with a good bathroom and walk-in shower. There’s a microwave downstairs too. Recommended.
For 34 euros, the room had everything I’d expect. The service was good, it was clean, and it’s right beside the town hall.
The owner was very pleasant and kind, though that doesn’t make up for the problems. The room was small, and the double bed was pushed against the wall, so my wife had to climb over it to get to the bathroom. The air conditioning’s heat pump wasn’t working. The bathroom was tiny and the shower handset was broken. There were only two shower towels, with none for the sink. Parking was limited, with no reservation and only a loading and unloading area.
The rooms are small, but clean, and there’s a toilet in each one. It’s a 2-star hostel on a narrow village street, with Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a TV, and a bathroom. They give you a key so you can come and go whenever you like. We hardly saw the owner, though there’s a number to call if you need anything. Not bad when you’re in a pinch.
The beds were comfortable, and the owner and her daughter were lovely, always ready to help. They make you feel at home, so I’d recommend staying here. It could have been a little cleaner, though. I’m not saying the owner doesn’t care about cleanliness, just that a bit more attention wouldn’t hurt.
