The rooms are on the small side, but clean and comfortable. The shower is small too, though the shower head is great and the water is lovely. The internet was better than at more expensive hotels we've stayed in. For the price, I have absolutely nothing to complain about.

After hiking 23 miles on the Camino, I was exhausted and needed a rest. We'd booked a room with a shower, so I asked at reception if there was any chance of getting one with a bathtub instead. They arranged it at no extra cost, without any fuss. Customer service was outstanding. Hotel Casa Verde's website calls it a 1 star hotel, but I'd say 4, and the service deserves 5 stars. Pilgrims, it's a must stay, close to the grocery store and right on the trail. Buen Camino. Buen Salud.

A welcoming, comfortable and clean place, with what you need for a couple of days exploring Gijon and the Asturias. Breakfast is tasty, though the portions are small. It's not a luxury hotel.
