Los Perales Gijón

The place is well located and seems suitable for stays with a dog, but I wouldn’t return while this person is working there. When we arrived from Madrid, she made us fill out a registration form. We complained, but it changed nothing. She barely explained anything about the house and came across as arrogant, curt, and inattentive. Every little thing seemed to be a struggle, and speaking with her was unpleasant. The breakfast, at 15 euros, was pathetic. I was going to call the owner but held off to avoid making things worse. I’ll do it now. I’m posting this so people know what kind of person they have working there. She’s unpleasant and arrogant, and kicks people out.

This is a peaceful place to reconnect with yourself, very close to San Lorenzo beach. It’s a renovated old Asturian manor house, ready to open, with just 5 bedrooms at a reasonable price. You can also rent the whole building, which would suit families. A surprising find.

Honestly, it cost far too much for what it was. It was also hard to find, and we spent an hour calling without getting an answer. We went this weekend, and we won’t be back.

A pleasant stay, with attentive staff. Highly recommended.
