Apartaments Girona Centre

We spent three days in the top-floor apartment, right in the center, which makes it great for sightseeing. From the balcony, the iconic red bridge just below is a wonderful view. The apartment was clean and well organized overall. A couple of little things could be improved, like the shower head that didn’t work properly and the missing hairdryer, but I’d still recommend it without hesitation.

I booked a two-bedroom apartment well ahead of time and paid, expecting a comfortable place at a good price. Later, the property told me the unit wasn’t available. With so little time left, I had to scramble to find somewhere similar, and there weren’t many options. A very disappointing experience.

The central spot on la rambla is great, with views of the river and old town, and the apartments themselves are very good. The staff are friendly, though, as is common in this area, they speak little English. There are around five flights of stairs up to the top apartment, so it’s not a good choice if stairs are difficult for you or you have young children. Otherwise, it’s great.

The river views are stunning, the location is unbeatable, and there’s loads of space, but staying here was hard. Getting luggage up the narrow, very steep staircase was a struggle, with nearly 70 steps to the apartment and another 15 inside to reach the bedrooms. We kept thinking twice before heading out and checking we hadn’t forgotten anything on the way down. 🤣 The apartment badly needs a deep clean. Even the kitchen cabinet doors looked like they hadn’t been wiped in days, and the sofa and dining chair upholstery felt practically unhygienic. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it.
