The rooms were fine and clean. My issue was how checkout and reception hours work. Checkout is before noon, but nobody is at the desk until 2 pm. I had paid my deposit in cash, so why require an early checkout if I couldn't get the money back until later? Checkout ought to be at 2 pm too. What if someone has an early flight or commute? My train was at 12 pm. I went to reception at 11:10 pm and found nobody there, then called three numbers. Someone arrived around 11:40 and returned my money, so at least it got sorted, but the whole arrangement makes no sense and cost them a lot of stars from me. Either don't take cash deposits or have someone at reception in the morning.

My partner and I booked three nights, but after the first night we woke up covered in small, red, itchy bumps. I thought it might be an allergic reaction until pharmacists told us they were bed mite bites. We packed up immediately and booked somewhere else for the remaining two nights. That same day, we contacted booking.com to request a refund and sent the photos of the bites the hotel asked us for. They still refused, saying they “adhere to strict hygiene standards.” Terrible experience. Avoid this place at all costs. It's not even cheap enough to make it worthwhile.

I paid extra so I could cancel the Booking whenever I wanted before check-in, but they disabled the option. I couldn't cancel, and they kept all the money.

Nothing like the pictures, and the room felt unclean. The paint on the walls was cracking, and there was blood on my pillowcase. I asked to change rooms or leave and get a refund, but they refused. Very disappointing, horrible experience.
