Hotel Gran Ultonia

I really liked having a secure bike room and useful amenities during my solo cycling trip. The hotel was super clean and close to restaurants and the old town. Breakfast had a very good spread, with juices, milks, fruit, yogurt, breads, pastries, and hot food like eggs and bacon. I’d happily stay here again.

The rooftop bar was excellent, and there’s a lovely cafe downstairs. Our room was really large and comfortable, and the hotel was exceptionally clean. The staff were friendly and helpful the whole time. Great base for exploring the city, highly recommend it! Chris

We’d recommend this place. The room was spacious, clean, and bright, and it was about a five minute walk to the centre. Most of the people we met were nice and helpful, but one woman at reception with red/orange hair was rude and hard to talk to. There was a mix-up at checkout, and she didn’t explain things clearly. There was no need to make us feel stupid.

There’s a well-equipped bike spa in the parking garage, which makes this a great place to start a bike trip. The staff were friendly and accommodating, including with a special request we had. Our room was large and nicely decorated, and seemed newly renovated, with an accessible walk-in shower. Breakfast also had some extra healthy options.
