Casa Blas

It’s outside the town centre, and construction next door blocks the view, which was the one drawback for us. Inside, though, the house was spotless and everything felt new. It had all we needed for a few days.

The beds were really comfortable, and the house had mountain views, heating throughout, towels, a hairdryer, a comfortable sofa, TV, and a fully equipped kitchen. It’s a cozy country house high in the Pyrenees. But the place was filthy when we arrived. They’d known a month ahead that we were coming, so even a quick clean the day before would have helped. Someone in our group is allergic to dust mites, and after the long trip we ended up cleaning the whole house ourselves instead of relaxing. Everything else was very good. There’s no Wi-Fi, and parking is difficult, with no parking available.

We had a lovely stay and the house used to have great views. I say used to, because another building was going up just 50 cm away.

Right in the middle of the Pyrenees, the location is spectacular.
