Hotel Cristaleiro

I woke up covered in bites from head to toe and killed four bedbugs the next morning, all full of blood. Staff helped us move to another room, but the other mattresses had blood stains too. It looks like a clear bedbug infestation, and nobody seems concerned.

I knew it was a cheap hotel, but the room was still horrible. The mattress was made of that cheap foam that sinks in. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

They were very rude and disrespectful, and never got around to serving us properly. I waited three hours for one miserable coffee. One of the worst places I've visited.

I'm reviewing the hotel, not the café, which was only okay. We booked through Booking.com with breakfast included, but the dark-haired waitress rudely insisted that couldn't be right. I showed the booking and she served me, but reluctantly. It was unpleasant enough that I went to another café the next morning to avoid a repeat. The room was quite dirty, the sheets didn't look clean, and it was unusually cold inside. The radiator barely warmed the place, and the shower curtain was possibly the dirtiest I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot. I know it's not an expensive hotel, but with service this terrible it isn't worth it. I was there with my children and considered changing hotels, but the area was quite busy during my trip.
