The nearby racetrack was audible, though during our stay we mostly noticed it on the weekend. We also appreciated the convenient Spar minimarket, which didn’t feel overpriced like similar shops at some other resorts. Our family enjoyed the stay, the room was spacious and bright, and the staff were friendly.

We liked having a quieter place to relax, and there were about five restaurants nearby. There wasn’t any nighttime entertainment, so anyone after a livelier area would need to take a bus or taxi, or hire a car. The communal pool was large and had fun daytime activities like water polo and aqua aerobics. It was busy, with plenty of sunbeds available, though we were told it was low season and the hotel was only half full. There were lots of sports activities and classes, including yoga. Our two-bedroom self-catering apartment had plenty of space. The beds were a bit hard for my taste, but fairly comfortable. The kitchen was small and basic, though adequate. The bathroom was roomy, and the large shower always had hot water and good pressure. The food at the hotel was nice and reasonably priced. The small shop had most things we needed, with a larger supermarket a short walk away. The bar, reception, and other areas were clean, and the staff were helpful and easy to talk to.

The yoga and other health activities were a real plus, and there’s a good little bike shop in-house with excellent e-bike tours. Great activities, good food, and helpful staff. It felt much better than the traditional hotel focused on booze like times gone by. Top class, and I’ll definitely return sometime.

We had a fantastic stay with our two children. There was plenty for them to do, as well as activities for us adults, so the resort ticked all the boxes. Our room had fantastic views, and the pool activities ran every day. The beach was a short walk away, with plenty of local restaurants and shops nearby. There’s also a local bus station with services around the island. The resort restaurant was great, with different food each day. The room had a fully equipped kitchen too if you want to cook, though we came to relax. Thanks to all the staff, who were amazing.
