Apartamentos Turísticos Alhambra

We were completely satisfied with our two nights here. It was our best stay in Andalusia, and really in all of Spain, with superb value for money. There’s an old church right next door, and we could see the Alhambra clearly from our window as well as from the terrace. The city center is only a 10 min walk away. Nacho was extremely helpful with anything we needed and gave us lots of tips for exploring Granada.

Staff were kind and attentive throughout our stay, and my girlfriend was so happy with the room and the view of Alhambra from the hotel rooftop. We could pay to use the washer and dryer. There was also a bottle of wine for €10, and we enjoyed a couple of glasses while taking in the view from above. It was an incredible stay.

The studio was cozy and thoughtfully laid out, with a spacious, comfortable bed, spotless modern bathroom, large wardrobe, and lovely Andalusian windows. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed, and there was a great dining table and comfortable seating. We were even able to check in early, which was a big bonus, and the welcoming team made us feel at home. Best of all was the furnished terrace, with comfy sofas and chairs and a breathtaking view of the Alhambra, especially at sunset. Apartamentos Alhambra is a real gem, and we can’t wait to return. 5/5 without hesitation.

The building is built around an original section of the Granada wall, with the large stone running from the ground all the way up to the rooftop. From the rooftop, the Alhambra views are stunning, and guests can relax with a book or chat and hear other people’s stories. It’s a small, quiet place, perfect for our family of 4, and everything is walkable. Juan, the owner, helped us throughout, including calling a Van cab that took us right to the door. When we left, Sofia called a cab for us to the train station. Breakfast is available if you let the staff know the night before. There’s no way this is a 2-star hotel. It’s definitely the best place to stay in Granada.
