We got into the apartment about 10 minutes early because it was already clean. For five people, we were assigned a second-floor apartment. There's no elevator, which was a real hassle with luggage and the main reason for the four-star rating. There were only two air-conditioning remotes too, so we had to run around to switch it on. The building has a lovely Andalusian-style inner courtyard with a little fountain, while the facade is old. Inside, the apartment feels modern, though some of the wooden frames, doors, and other parts are worn. You need a code to enter the building, so it's a good idea to write it down or share it in case someone forgets their phone. The apartment lock is worn as well, and sometimes you have to find just the right position to turn the key. The apartment had two bedrooms. One had two single beds pushed together, air conditioning, a wardrobe, and one bedside table; the other bed had none. Its door dragged at the bottom instead of sliding smoothly. The other room had a double bed and a single bed, air conditioning, and a wardrobe, though I can't remember what else was there. In the living and dining room there was air conditioning, a TV, a sofa, and a dining table. The kitchen had a mini-fridge with a surprisingly powerful freezer, and I think there was a Nespresso machine with four capsules. The drawer and shelf doors have a rather small opening, so they could work better. There's one bathroom, and the half-glass shower screen lets water splash all over the apartment. The light switches aren't always by the entrance. For instance, the bathroom switch is inside, behind the door. It's a small thing, but it'd be better to have the switch at the entrance so you can turn the light on before going in. It wasn't too noisy while we were there. We could hear the young neighbors talking quite clearly, but only during the day. Some outside noise, mostly cars, came in too, though it wasn't especially loud on our visit.

Getting a good night's sleep was impossible because the noise was constant and excessive. This place was a complete rip-off, and the listing photos didn't match what we found at all. We were put in a ground-floor apartment that felt like a dark basement, with no natural light. It was cold and damp, and the mix of paint and mildew smelled unbearable. On arrival, it felt neglected and unhealthy rather than like a place for tourists. Dust was left on the tables, the sheets had holes, and the general state was disgusting. The bathroom was a mess too. The sink was so tiny it was barely usable, and the shower had been installed badly. The showerhead was in an absurd position, the curtain got soaked, and every shower flooded the whole bathroom. Management was the worst part. After we complained, they initially suggested some compensation, then stopped making any effort to resolve things. They took no responsibility and showed zero professionalism. I absolutely don't recommend this place. It deceives people with its photos and washes its hands of everything when there's a problem. If you're thinking of booking, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. This place is one to avoid.
We were told check-in was available from 4 pm, but even though we got there at 6 pm, we still had to wait half an hour while the apartment was cleaned. The sofa bed was incredibly shabby, there were no blankets, and the living room split air conditioner wouldn't heat. We called about it, but were told they couldn't send a technician at that time on Saturday. I understood that Sunday would be no better. Were we meant to sleep without blankets or heat? They told us to bring the small bathroom heater into the living room. I just hoped the sofa wouldn't catch fire, since I'd have to put it right by my feet. On the door, a very clear notice said we had two hours after arrival to check everything, or they'd charge €75 for any damage or malfunction found when we left. Meanwhile, they were messaging us on WhatsApp asking for photos and videos of what wasn't working. The TV didn't work either, though I didn't really care. We wanted to spend as little time in the apartment as possible. By the second night, the first day's problems felt minor. They'd given us a ground-floor apartment with a bedroom opening straight onto an alley that seemed quite busy at night. Voices in the bedroom sounded like people were right there, maybe even amplified. Sleeping was completely impossible. We were trying to arrange a room change so we could get some rest for the remaining nights. The problems we'd reported the day before still hadn't been dealt with.
José was the bright spot for me. He was really friendly and gave clear directions for parking and finding the apartment. The apartment itself wasn’t very clean: there was a damp smell in the bathroom, and long hairs on the sheets, in the shower, and across the floor. At night, the poor wooden windows let in every sound from people passing on the street, which stayed busy all night. Sleeping was impossible.
We had to wait until 6:30 PM to get in, even though check-in was supposed to be at 4:00 PM, because the apartment hadn’t been cleaned. Street noise came through the very old wooden windows so clearly it felt like people were inside with us. The toaster heated unevenly because its elements were faulty, and the air conditioning didn’t work in one of the rooms. We wouldn’t come back, and I can’t recommend these apartments.
