The location was great, and the hotel was very clean. We had the orange room shown in the pictures on the top floor. It was small, but the staff were so nice, and I loved the shared balcony. You can’t drive on the road right in front, so carrying bags a few blocks is necessary. It wasn’t too bad.

We found the price quite reasonable for the service and location. The rooms are done up very elegantly, the bathrooms are spacious, and service was humble and prompt. The staff gave us helpful suggestions for places to see around the city. From the terrace you can see rooftops across the city, including the cathedral and a bit of Alhambra. Such a beautiful boutique stay in the heart of Granada. Thank you, team Casa de Frederico. 😊🙏🏽

The rooftop terrace has panoramic views of the Alhambra, the Cathedral, and the Sierra Nevada mountains, making it a lovely place to watch the sunset or have a tinto de verano. Casa de Federico has a central spot in Granada and a lot of character. Traditional Moorish touches sit alongside modern design, with colorful tiles, detailed lamps, and individually decorated rooms. Some guests do find the rooms small, and the amenities can be limited, with no fridge, coffee maker, kettle, or closet mentioned. It’s a memorable choice if you enjoy a bohemian feel. Pack light.

The staff were the best part of our stay, warm, welcoming, knowledgeable, and full of helpful ideas for places to visit. The bed was comfortable, but the shower was broken and could only be used by holding it. Our room was small, with a balcony facing the street. Wednesday and Thursday were quiet. Friday night was very noisy, both from outside and from other guests, and sleep was disturbed into the early hours.
