We only booked the spa, we didn't stay at the hotel, and it was amazing. The pools and saunas felt private, shared by just a few people, so it was peaceful and relaxing. We also booked massages, and Celia and Javi were great. My mom doesn't speak English or Spanish, but Celia was caring and made sure she could relax and enjoy it. Javi explained the experience really helpfully, and I loved my massage. Definitely recommend if you're spending more time in Granada.

The room was dirty, especially the bathroom, which had to be "cleaned" again, if that even counts. It felt as though nobody was really working there. The staff seemed to be enjoying themselves by the staff door near the wellness center while we were getting no rest. For hours, children ran up and down the hallways, and nobody from the hotel appeared to do anything. The noise was unbearable. A light eyed receptionist came out looking very happy with his younger colleague. It made me wonder whether the noise had actually been from kids. The whole place felt more like a circus than a hotel, and it definitely wasn't worth the price.

The convenient location put El Corte Inglés nearby and the historic center about a 10-minute walk away. Gran Hotel Luna de Granada is modern, comfortable, and well maintained. I also appreciated its environmental efforts, including using less plastic and saving resources. Check-in was quick, and the staff were consistently helpful and friendly. Dinner and breakfast were both enjoyable, with good quality and variety. The pools, gym, and spa are great facilities, making the hotel a good fit for leisure or business. I’d highly recommend it for the comfort, service, food, and responsible approach to sustainability.

The reception team were pleasant and very helpful in sorting out the problems with my room. It was comfortable, with lots of sockets and a really comfy bed. There were tea and coffee facilities with a good range of teas, and they readily brought extra coffee. Toiletries didn't include conditioner or body lotion. I missed out on the pool because I hadn't realized a cap was required. My package included the evening buffet, but the hot food staff were indifferent and rude. They cooked vegetables on the same hot plate as meat and used the same utensils. Even though I'd asked in advance, there was no vegetarian equivalent, and they were unpleasant when I followed it up. Breakfast offered almost nothing hot for vegans or vegetarians, just a tomato, or mushrooms on one day. On the second day, plant-based milks were available, which was a plus. The restaurant experience really spoiled my stay. The staff need to improve their customer care and learn some basic catering for people who don't eat meat. It's a bit of a walk to the main attractions, but manageable. The place could have been reasonable, but the restaurant staff came across as ignorant and uncaring. I was travelling alone with a tour group, and my meals were prepaid, which may have contributed to them not caring.

The breakfast was the highlight for me, a buffet with pretty much anything you could want. It costs 18 euros, though, not 12 dollars as some other websites say, and I still think it’s worth that price. The hotel was clean and well located, about a 15-minute walk downhill from the train station. I’d stay again.
