The rooms were clean and nice, and the welcome at the front door was great. We used the access codes without any trouble, even though nobody was there after a certain hour. There’s a garage next door, and free breakfast is available at the bar beside it. The main downside was noise from both the street and people moving around inside the hotel. Earplugs would sort it out for me. We enjoyed our stay and I don’t really get most of the bad reviews.

Parking was a nightmare, but the stay itself was clean and quiet. Communication was good, and I could call about any issues even though nobody was on site when I arrived. I asked for an iron in the morning and got one, but there was no ironing board, so I had to use a towel on the floor and go at it that way. :-) Aside from that, all solid.

Right in the heart of Granada, just a short walk from the city’s famous sights. The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and well organized, and the host was easy to reach throughout. Parking can be tricky in an old town, but following the host’s directions made everything go smoothly. Perfection, that’s the word. Me encantó.

The building was nice and it’s near the city center, but I wouldn’t come back if I visit Granada again. Our room hadn’t been cleaned, and when we complained, the receptionist said departures were being prioritized. Then a maid kept knocking and insisting on cleaning while we were trying to rest. The receptionist wasn’t helpful.

El Mercader de Sedas combines old architecture with modern comfort really well. It’s a beautifully restored historic house, with tasteful design and a warm, stylish feel. The main sights in Granada are within walking distance.
