Hotel La Marquesa

A cool old mansion turned into a hotel, with big, really comfortable rooms and a pool. The staff were kind and helpful, and it’s not too far from the center. You’ll need a car to get around, or a taxi or Uber.

We had a fantastic day celebrating my son's First Communion here. The food was delicious and excellent quality, and the venue is beautiful. Mercedes, the maître d', and the waiter all provided outstanding service and were always smiling. Above all, thank you to Mercedes for her patience and kindness. This is where we’ll come for celebrations from now on. Thank you so much!

The food was delicious, and the rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. The only snag was that the bed shifted a lot whenever one of us turned over. Otherwise, everything was fantastic. The estate was beautiful and suited our best friends' medieval-themed wedding perfectly. Mercedes and her colleague, whose name I’m sorry I don’t know, were lovely, elegant, and incredibly attentive. Thanks for everything. We won’t hesitate to call or recommend you when we have an event. 🩷🩷🩷

The food and catering staff were excellent, which made the guests think the wedding had gone well. As the bride and groom, though, we’d never choose this venue again. We saw a beautiful estate with potential, but the decor provided was very basic, and the upkeep was appalling: loose artificial turf, doors that wouldn’t close, broken lights, and a guest’s bed leg snapped because it was held with silicone. The welcome drinks were over fifteen minutes late, and there was no water in the guest rooms, including the bridal suite. We booked the "My Day" package for at least 150 people. Nobody told us that we’d still pay for 150 even if fewer guests attended, while itemizing the services would cost much more. When we asked for the menus we’d paid for but wouldn’t be served, they flatly refused. They first said placemats were extra at the outrageous price of €1.50 per person + VAT, then gave them to us free. The package centerpieces were basic, and after we requested a specific one, they put out whatever they wanted. The three different cutlery sets were dirty and scratched and needed checking the day before. There were stained tablecloths and napkins with holes. On the morning of the celebration, they said they had three things to do, including setting up a surprise corner. We’d shown them a photo of how it should look, but they did it their own way. They also left the guests’ gifts off the tables and put the cake toppers in a drawer. Two days before the wedding, we repeatedly tried calling the venue and M.'s (the organizer's) cell phone but couldn’t get through.
