La Casa Juan Ranas

The revolving service hatch was such a clever touch. We could get extra soap, tissues, breakfast, and coffee without anyone knocking. They’d also left sleeping masks, a cute L’Occitane pouch with mini toiletries, mini deodorant, lip balm, and extra blankets. Drinks from the minibar were included, and after a small issue they apologized sincerely and offered us a free dinner. We stayed three nights in a spacious, beautifully decorated room with historic charm, a cozy seating area, a shower, and a fully equipped bathroom. Our balcony looked straight toward the Alhambra, and the view was breathtaking. It was honestly one of our best stays in Granada. I stayed in the El Cielo room at La Casa Juan Ranas and planned a surprise proposal on our private terrace. The Alhambra and city views were unforgettable, and the owners and staff made the whole thing feel magical. They arranged a private terrace dinner, coordinated with my photographer, and took care of every detail. Dinner and breakfast were both outstanding. The property manages to combine historic charm, top tier amenities, and real privacy. My fiancée and I can’t wait to return someday. Thank you to everyone who helped make it such a memorable stay. I can’t recommend this hotel enough for a one-of-a-kind getaway.

A dreamy little hotel, charming and romantic, with stunning views of the spectacular Alhambra. The owner Angus is wonderful and makes you feel personally appreciated. I can’t recommend it enough.
