The rest of the apartment was good, but the entrance has a 200mm step that made wheelchair access impossible without help. We booked because the listing said it was wheelchair accessible and had a roll-in shower, so arriving to find that was a problem. There was also a musty smell that seemed to suggest a waterproofing issue. I can’t recommend it to wheelchair users, especially anyone traveling alone. Smaller annoyances: there was no soap in the shower or laundry area, and each guest got just one towel.

The room design is cool, the kitchen is great, the staff are nice, and the location is good, though there’s a noisy bar above. But the toilet closet beside the bedroom smelled awful throughout our stay, like sewer gas was coming up through the pipes. It seemed related to how much water the hotel was using. When we dropped by in the afternoon and nobody was around, it wasn’t as bad. After a shower it got really awful, and the smell even woke me up at night or early morning. Management blamed “the heat and the rains” and didn’t offer a fix. Other buildings in Granada seem to have handled this, so I don’t understand the explanation, and honestly I don’t care what’s causing it. With the plumbing fixed, this would be an easy 5/5 for me. As it is, it’s so bad I wouldn’t recommend staying here. I really wanted to love the hotel, and hope they fix it.

María was such a charming, helpful host, and the apartment had everything. The location is great too. I just wish the photos made it clear that the bathroom is ensuite. The bed could use a big improvement, but everything else was perfect.
