When the bullring is sold out, the atmosphere feels hard to beat. The seats are packed close together, so expect to get friendly with your neighbors and ask questions if you need to. Dress up for the occasion, too!

We had the meal with the flamenco show at La Soléa - Restaurant and Flamenco. The beef was delicious, though the salmon came undercooked. There’s a nice wine bar, and the hour-long performance by five artists mixed dancing, music, and singing. It was traditional, entertaining, and fairly low-key. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff were helpful. A relaxing evening.
Granada's Plaza de Toros is one of Spain's ten largest bullrings, with space for 15,000 people. The Neo-Mudéjar building was completed in 1928, the city's third bullring, and its first bullfight was held that same year. Fights are usually held during the Corpus Christi celebrations.
I went to a concert by local Grenadian band La Plazuela in June 2024, and it was epic. The place was packed, and the band is one of the best in Spain right now. Entry was very organized, with lots of space and both seated and standing tickets. They ran out of beer, wine, and other drinks during the night, though. Still, it’s a great historic venue for outdoor concerts, and my experience there was good. Plaza de Toros de Granada, or the Granada Bullring, is about a 20-minute walk from the old town center. Opened in 1928, it has red brickwork, arches, and decorative tiles, combining Neomudéjar and Neoclassical styles. It holds around 12,000 spectators and hosts bullfights mainly during the annual Feria del Corpus Christi. Concerts, cultural events, and other public gatherings are held here too.
The architecture is stunning. It's a bit of a walk from the old town, about 20 minutes, but the boulevard is beautiful and lined with gorgeous buildings. Unfortunately, we didn't find it open ...
