The staff were friendly and brought us a kettle and heater for the room when we asked. That was the bright spot. This feels like a very old-fashioned hotel, and I wouldn't rate it four stars, three at most. Our room was tiny, more like storage, with a minimal window. The so-called mini bar was just an empty fridge in the middle of the room. The furniture, bedding and towels were old, the heating was an old style, and there were basically no amenities. Breakfast was basic and not fresh at all, and the bathroom was basic too. Not a good stay, especially for a family.

The location is decent, and it could work for a short, budget stay. My room was hot, though, and I didn't sleep comfortably. The toilet's odd layout made an already cramped space feel even tighter, something the photos seem to hide, so I'm adding a note here. The shower temperature kept changing.

We had a leak in our room and were moved to a smaller one. There wasn't a full-length mirror either, which I personally like for checking outfits. The room's fridge didn't work, and there was hardly any daylight in either room. The pillows were very thick, but when we opened one we found two pillows stuffed inside, so we just took one out. The rooms were good, with the basics, and clean. The location was perfect and the hotel was pretty good, though I wouldn't call it four stars.

The staff were very cooperative, and breakfast was very good. A really nice, clean hotel in the center, not far from the Cathedral.

Its main advantage is the strategic spot right in the heart of the city. The food was questionable and not a good fit if you don't eat only halal. If you're driving, parking is very limited, and I paid 20 euros per day for my car, although most nearby places are only a 10-minute walk away, so a car isn't really needed. The rooms feel stuck in the mid-1950s, and I hope you don't end up with the wall-window view I had.
