The reception staff were nice, and the place itself was nice too.

For the same price as la de Carmines, this place was nothing like it, in a good way. They pay attention to the little things: the bathroom was spotless, the internet worked, and there was toilet paper. The woman who helped me was really pleasant. Good value for the price.

The location was ideal for exploring Granada on foot, and the owners were friendly and attentive. It was quiet, good value, and only families were staying that weekend. The place is a little old and the bathroom is shared, but it was fine. With a hostel like this, you're there to spend less, so don't expect much from the room.

The stairs alone make this place unsuitable for people with reduced mobility: there are at least 30 steps to get in and no elevator. Prices seem to change depending on the day, going up by €10 or €15, and there is no price list. The receptionist, who is also the owner and lives there, says he's only an employee and has nothing to do with the rates, which I don't believe. He asks for payment every day as though you'll run off without paying, and keeps calling even when you're trying to relax in your room. He's incredibly rude. They also gave no receipt when I paid and wouldn't provide a complaints book when I asked. It's unbelievable. I doubt the place follows the regulations, and a labor inspector should look into it.
