The location alone made this place worthwhile, with a lovely beach nearby and great stargazing. It was good value, and the showers were excellent. I also appreciated being able to use things like deodorant and sun cream for free. I met some cool people while I was there, but I often felt unwelcome and like a burden. Some volunteers were rude and aggressive, and two even had a heated argument outside my room. They seemed to make more effort with Spanish speakers or pretty women. Staff also knocked while I was in the shower to hurry me out. There was no information about excursions, and the rooms were so hot I barely slept. That's not what I want from a holiday.

I came here to cycle and get some proper rest after rides, and it was just right for that. The routes from el Medano are brilliant, and the town is an easy 20-minute walk away, with a relaxed feel, a nice boardwalk, good bars, sunsets, surfers and windsurfers. There are sandy beaches nearby and little hills to climb too. The staff are kind and keep the place really clean, welcoming the steady stream of travellers into their shared home and helping out when needed. They even put together a New Year's dinner and invited the guests. I had a fabulous holiday, and it was more fun than I expected.

The dorms have their own bathrooms, and there's a nice kitchen for cooking. It's right by the beach, affordable, and kept clean several times a day. The young freelancers who work and live there have such friendly energy that it feels like home. If you're hoping to make friends, you'll find people here, and parking was easy anywhere when we had a rental car. I had a great time. If I return to Tenerife, I'd stay again, though next time I'd try to book one of their private rooms in advance to escape the dorm's snoring orchestra. 😁🤍

The beach is right outside, and it felt magical. The staff were attentive, and there was free filtered water and coffee in the morning. I only stayed one night, so I can't really comment on the facilities.

I haven't had a hostel experience this lovely before. It was full of good energy and caring people. PIPO was especially kind and attentive to everything we needed or asked for. I'm so grateful I got to meet you, thank you 🙏🏼
