We stayed for a week with a friend in a two-bedroom apartment. Having a rental car, we appreciated the garage parking space under the building, with a key to get in and out. Finding apartment J was confusing: its letter wasn't visible inside the building, only once we went outside and walked along the swimming pool. The owner sends the entry instructions by WhatsApp between 9 am and 9 pm. There was a terrace with a table and four chairs, but two chairs were already broken. Inside, the living and dining area shared an open kitchen with an electric stove and oven, fridge and freezer, washing machine, small combi microwave, Nescafé Dolce Gusto machine, toaster, and everything needed for cooking. There's a TV and Wi-Fi in the living room, though the connection doesn't reach the bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and balcony. The mattresses were quite hard. On arrival, only one bedroom had mattress covers, and there were no duvet covers. We told the owner the next day, and they delivered the covers that same day. The reservation said there would be air conditioning, but there wasn't any. In the upstairs bathroom, a tube brings in natural light, but rainwater drips alongside it and leaves a wet patch on the floor. The paint is also peeling on the inside of the bathroom door. The complex has a shared swimming pool with loungers around it. A supermarket, some shops, an ATM, and a few restaurants are nearby. Tejita beach is about a 10-minute walk away.
