The heating gave us a small problem, but it was fixed right away, which we appreciated. The house itself works for a small group, though it felt much too cramped for our family of 18 over four days. In the three-bedroom house and the other units, the living rooms are small too. The main kitchen and living area lacks enough chairs and space for everyone, and the patio barely fits a table for six despite looking much bigger in the photos. A lot of the chairs were loose or coming apart, so we couldn't use them. There wasn't enough cookware for a big group, and the pans and griddles provided were so worn that food stuck to them. Cleaning was just adequate. At checkout, the owner sent a very detailed list of how to leave everything, including sheets, towels, the kitchen, and rubbish. We've done rural stays for years and always leave places as we found them or better, so we'd never received a message like that before.
