Angel and Rainer made us feel so at home and comfortable. For us, that was the heart of the place. They go out of their way because they truly love looking after guests, and it shows. They’re two wonderful people putting a lot of love and dedication into building their dream, and I think they’re succeeding. I can’t imagine anyone leaving disappointed. We spent a weekend here with my girlfriend and will definitely return. The hotel is clean, tidy, and well run, and Angel cooks wonderfully with top local products. The setting is stunning too, surrounded by nature and historic places. It’s a real hidden gem for anyone wanting a quiet break somewhere breathtaking.

I’ve never had hospitality that felt so warm, friendly, personal, and respectful. The food was carefully prepared, the wine was exceptional, and the conversations were insightful and intellectually rewarding. A true hidden gem, and I’ll definitely visit again.

We managed a 13.5 km walk on the GR1, which is right on the doorstep. The owner even helped us get to our starting point. We only stayed one night, sadly, but had half board, and both dinner and breakfast were out of this world. The food was 5*, and the attention to detail was better than anywhere we ate in Spain. The bedrooms are amazing, beautifully done, and spacious. This place is fabulous. So worth a visit, and we’ll be back. Thankyou.

The room was quiet and clean, and the service and advice about nearby trips were excellent. Breakfast was full of freshly made dishes, local meat and cheese, homemade sweets, fresh fruit, local yoghurt, and honey. We also had dinner here, and it was excellent too, which came as no surprise after breakfast.
