The main draw is the location, with the town nearby and excellent walks around. It's a good campsite, but the pitches are small and don't really feel like proper pitches.

It's a very pretty campsite with lots of shade and a pool, and it's about as close to town as you can get, around a 20-minute walk to the centre. The caravan pitches are tiny and take good parking skills. Some facilities need repairs, there's nowhere to dump caravan waste, and the staff were very unfriendly.

Comfortable little place, and the bathroom was the cleanest ever. Great for a short stay, though you can hear noise from the nearby main road.

There's no food available, and the rooms aren't great either. The hostel bed is extremely shaky and its ladder is broken. The property does have Wi-Fi, but the signal only works in a particular spot and doesn't reach the campsite or rooms, so you can't really get connected there.

It's a beautiful setting, but the campground is very basic, with few facilities, and reception closes at 14.30. The pool is empty by October. Getting in with a camper is hard because the roads are so narrow. It's quite high on the mountain, so temperatures are lower, and the site falls into shade relatively early.
