The owners made lunch feel so warm and personal. By the time I finished eating, I felt like they were my grandparents. They’re a lovely couple and looked after me so genuinely. I haven’t stayed in the guest house, but the restaurant serves fantastic homemade local food. I’d especially recommend the wild deer.
Breakfast was good and cost €5 per person, and the room, though small, was clean. Just bear in mind there’s no reception desk: when you arrive, you get your key from a locker. The hotel is in a tiny village of about 100 people, with one bar and not much else, and parking nearby is hard to find. It’s a fine choice for a basic one-night stay if simplicity and cleanliness are what you’re after. I did miss having a hairdryer, which I consider essential, especially somewhere so cold.
The location was attractive, and Diego was a young, very attentive host. My room was small but cozy, and it was clean. Breakfast was more than adequate. A good stay.
The river views were beautiful, and the mattress and pillow were among the most comfortable I’ve had. We visited during a cold snap, but the rooms were warm and cozy, and the owner was attentive the whole time. Breakfast was fantastic and had everything we needed. Such a pleasant stay in this little town. We’ll definitely come back. Absolutely top-notch.
We’ve just left Martina’s house after a weekend, and everything was wonderful. The room was really warm, and we had great meals there, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Martina and Aurelio were incredibly kind and attentive throughout. Thank you for everything.
