The main drawback is finding a place to park. The village streets are narrow, and there doesn’t seem to be parking anywhere. Still, it’s well worth the trip, even though the large country house sits right in the middle of the village. There are lovely nearby walks, including Corcoval and Capitana. Inside, it’s huge, with a large living room and fireplace, plus a kitchen that opens straight into it. The patio is lovely and has a barbecue. The bedrooms are very large and well equipped; the bathrooms are new and fully equipped too. Linen and towels are provided for everyone, and the kitchen has everything you need. The owner is very attentive.

It’s a huge house, right in the village center, with supermarkets very close and hiking trails nearby. The kitchenware is very complete, and the water gets wonderfully hot. The house is quite nice. Our bed was only okay, though the other beds were fine.

We were 15, children included, and had plenty of room. The beds were comfortable, the amenities were excellent, and the house is so big that nobody’s noise bothers you. It’s stunning and full of charm, just like the photos; exploring the rooms and all the little details is fascinating. Our only downside was that the upstairs bedrooms felt a bit chilly. Since the house is very large, maybe we’d come back at a warmer time of year and get more use out of the patio. A truly delightful stay.

My grandchildren had a great time because there’s so much space. It’s a stunning house for spending time with family, and it has everything you might need. Definitely recommend it.

We had to cancel our booking for fair week when an unexpected problem came up. From the start, the host, Pedro, responded with empathy and understanding, putting people before money. I’d like to thank you publicly, and I hope we get to meet in person someday.
