We stayed in a thousand-year-old home and could enjoy wide-open views outside. The host was very friendly and took care to tell us about sights nearby. If you're walking the Camino Mozárabe through Guadix, this is a place you could choose to stay.

Breakfast comes with one of the best views of Guadix, and you'll meet some fantastic travellers here. If you're after an authentic, alternative experience at a very affordable price, this is the place.

For what I paid, 15 euros a night, this was excellent value. It's definitely budget accommodation, though, so don't expect luxury for a tiny price. The room was huge, but it only had bunk beds, which weren't as comfortable as I'd like. The bathroom was separate but private, and the huge kitchen was well stocked, making it easy to cook for yourself. Gabriel was a very friendly host. I enjoyed my three nights.

It's more like a homestay than a hotel. The owner is nice, friendly, and helpful, and there are yoga sessions in the afternoon in the yoga space. You can prepare your own food in the kitchen. The house is new and still being finished in some parts, but overall it's an interesting, nice, and affordable place.
